We are the Mu Nu chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, a national honorary fraternity for college band members. The Mu Nu chapter is located at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. The organization primarily operates as a student service and leadership organization that focuses on serving the bands and ensembles at CNU. Our mission is to advance "college and university bands for the benefit of its members and society through dedicated service and support to bands, encouragement of musical growth, lifelong educational experiences, leadership opportunities, and recognition."* Our vision: "Kappa Kappa Psi empowers and influences the vibrant and diverse college band movement through purposeful programming, unified messaging, and excellence in service and operations."*
