Why have you chosen to be involved in music?

I grew up with a mother who was a ballet dancer and who played piano, and father who played guitar. So from a young age I’ve always been exposed to music. In sixth grade I decided that I wanted to really make music part of my life, so I started learning to play the clarinet and have continued playing instruments ever since.

Why Kappa Kappa Psi?

Throughout my first semester in the Marching Captains I made a lot of friends, and a lot of them were in KKPsi. Because of this, I continuously heard all about the organization and became fairly interested in it. I had been wanting to join an organization where I could form close bonds with others who shared my interests and values, so my second semester I decided to go to Krazy Kool Party Week events to see what they were all about. After meeting everybody in the organization and learning the values of KKPsi, I realized just how well of a fit the organization was for me and I decided to join.

How do you feel your experience as a brother will help you beyond college?

I believe that the biggest aspect of KKPsi that will benefit me is the connections I make. Brotherhood is a very important aspect of KKPsi, and due to this, many close bonds are formed within the chapter and there is potential for bonds to be formed with brothers of other chapters. Within the world of marketing, connections are very important, and I believe that because KKPsi is a national organization, the connections I form in my time as a brother will benefit me in my future career.
